Examinations can be booked by phone (call +39 080.521.09.81 - 346.5002399), or by sending a WhatsApp message to +39 346.5002399 with a request to be contacted, stating the type of examination you wish to book. The patient will be notified, where required, about any preparation for the examination.
If the patient has psycho/physical disabilities, s/he is obliged to communicate this at the time of booking so that a longer time for the examination can be foreseen and all systems can be put in place for a better reception and stay in the facility for the patient.
Attending the examination
On the day of the booking, you should come to reception with the request of the treating physician and/or the requesting specialist, identification document and health card.
For examinations involving the use of ionising radiation, albeit in low dose, it is necessary to obtain the patient's Informed Consent; therefore during admission, the patient will receive all the information regarding the examination and may ask the Radiologist present in the facility for any clarification. The patient is then invited, after reading the Information Notice, to sign the consent form for the processing of personal data.
Payment for the service can be made by credit/debit card/cash.
After completing acceptance, the patient receives an identification number and is invited to take a seat in one of the waiting rooms.
The patient is invited by the Medical or Technical Team to the diagnostic room when their identification number is called.
On arrival in the diagnostic room, the patient must hand over to the Medical or Technical Staff any previous examinations and/or previous health records in their possession.
After the examination
The presence of one or more Radiology Physicians and one or more Medical Radiology Technicians at the Centre is always guaranteed throughout opening hours; therefore, for most examinations, the Centre is able to deliver the report and images at the same time as the examination is performed.
In cases where this is not possible, (e.g. for examinations of a high diagnostic difficulty requiring special study or when extensive previous documentation must be viewed), the patient will be notified of the date and time from which it is possible to collect the examination in person and, if requested, can get the form for collection of the examination by someone else.

If the patient would like someone else to collect their results, they must always carry their own identification document and the proxy form signed by the patient.

To book a complete breast examination in agreement with the centre in Bari, it is necessary to go to a pharmacy or call the toll-free number +39 800 345477 if you already have a request issued by an attending physician listing exactly the following codes:
- 87371 bilateral mammography;
- 88731 bilateral mammography
- 8903 anamnesis and assessment, defined as comprehensive (breast examination).
