Prevenzione e Diagnostica per Immagini is a Radiology Centre located in the centre of the City of Bari on Via Principe Amedeo 40, at the corner of Via Argiro.
The Centre has been providing Diagnostic Imaging services since 2003, under both private and institutional accreditation with the National Health Service as well as under agreements with other bodies and private companies.
The Centre has always complied with the standards required for both operating authorisation and institutional accreditation and, in order to provide an excellent service to its patients, it has submitted itself to the DASA Register certification body's audits, obtaining EN ISO 9001:2015 Quality Certification IQ-0214-04.
The Facility operates in compliance with the National and International Guidelines and the policy documents published by the Italian Society of Medical Radiology and the National Union of Radiologists.
Our Mission is, first and foremost, to offer the population of the area instrumental diagnostic examinations with the latest generation equipment, operated by highly qualified and specialised Medical and Paramedical personnel with short waiting times in a welcoming facility that is attentive to all patient needs. We also place our expertise at the service of colleagues operating throughout the country, providing second opinions on particularly complex cases.

Attention
New ASL regulations for breast examinations in agreement
By order of ASL Bari, in our centre, as in all private radiology practices accredited by ASL Bari, it will no longer be possible to perform examinations in agreement in women in the screening range (50-69 years) but only privately.
Our facility has had no input on this decision. For any further information, we advise you to contact the offices of ASL Bari directly.
Only patients between the ages of 40 and 49 and those over the age of 70 can book a full breast check-up at our facility.
